Yortí Greek frozen yogurt is a unique dairy product as it uses 75% natural yogurt when other competitors offer 50% or less. Made from strained yogurt and Greek fresh milk, Yortí frozen yogurt is made only from natural raw materilas full of probiotics to help the body function better.
Besides tasked with creating the visual identity and packaging for the first products of the line we also came up with a name for the brand. Yortí derives from the Greek word “Γιορτή” which means “celebration”. A celebration of flavors, a celebration of the sences. It was also the favorite as the word starts with the same letters as the core product. Yo-rtí, Yo-gurt.
By combining a minimal aesthetic utilising traditional greek patterns and “friendly” typography we were able to reflect the modern interpretation of a traditional Greek craft. The clean appearance emphasised on the pureness of the product whilst the graphic elements maintained an approachable and welcoming tone of voice.
